V&A Friday Late: Back to the 80's

Was a fantastic experience performing in the V&A on Friday, especially the Shrine as I'd got a lot of inspiration from there to make it (that and Indiana Jones films!)
I've never performed more than one vacuum piece in one night and I did three. Feel like I've only just recovered. Was chuffed so many friends came to watch and more importantly help me get in and out of the pieces, was nice my dad came along too. A great night!

Now I'm busy making my new piece for Rubber Cult in December, as I missed the last one I've promised to do something extra special, no pressure then!

I can't see anything in the Angels, it wasn't until I saw the pics that I
realized how many people there were gathered around!

Making a movie!

On Sunday me and Dee O'Connell went out on location into the Lea Valley to start making a new film 'Angels For Machines', we're shooting on a wind-up Russian 16mm film camera.
The White Angel is the main character, all my other Angels will be making an appearance along with some brand new pieces made special! Getting the first rolls developed this week, can't wait to get back out shootin' again soon!!!

For some reason this image makes me think of Princess Mononoke.
Dee did all the camera work but I'm just having a nosy through the lens. The shoe lace is holding the lens on properly, one of the location pins broke off :0

Rubber Cult 3

Had an amazing time at Rubber Cult 3 on Saturday night!
The new venue (Mary Janes) was great and was packed full of fantastic latex outfits. Great to meet new folks and say hi to some familiar faces too.
Was well chuffed to be asked back by Kim & Cynth to perform in another one of my Latex Angels, I finally got my Manta Angel finished and brought it on it's first night out! Zac Zenza got some great images of me, thanks Zac!!!!

A Galaxy Far Far Away.....

Just back from an amazing road trip through Tunisia with friend Jim, the place blew my mind, so did driving! Was massively excited to go and stay in the Troglodyte dwelling in Matmata where they filmed Star Wars (Luke's home with his Aunt & Uncle).
We had the entire place to our selves all night so decided to shoot my Scorpion Angel. I'd taken it with me hoping to find somewhere we'd get to do a shoot but never imagined I'd get to do it there! Was such and fun and exciting thing to do and I'm so glad with the pictures Jim took. I'd love to go back and shoot more of my stuff in the desert!
Only just back and now getting a huge vacuumed latex Angel ready to perform at Rubber Cult tomorrow night!
