Hackney Wicked 2014

'The Machine' got its first outing this weekend at Hackney Wicked!

A work in progress, 'The Machine' is my biggest and most ambitions piece to date. Using my own breathing I create a vacuum in this 2 cubic meter latex cage. Its a mammoth breathing exercise and takes about 15 minutes to achieve a full vacuum. The performance was the first full test, so was very pleased it worked! Still lots more work to do with the design for its next outing!

Thanks to Hackney Wicked for another amazing weekend, this is my fourth year exhibiting with them and hope for many more.

Fete Worse than Death 20th Aniversary

Was fantastic to be a part of the 20th Anniversary of Fete Worse than Death in Shorditch last month. I performed 'The Shrine' a latex vacuum installation entirely powered by my own breathing in the Red Market (Red Gallery).

To exhibit at the same event as Damien Hirst, Tracey Emin, Gillian Wearing, Gavin Turk, Sir Peter Blake, Sam Taylor-Wood was pretty cool!

Night Watch

I recently performed my latex vacuum piece 'Diamond Angel' at Night Watch Festival, an amazing solid 24 hour program of performance & live art at Cambridge Junction. At 4am the crowd was still going strong!!!
